Sally from Halloween Town

This drawing joins my Animated Heroines Collection and also is my Halloween drawing :3 Because when I think of Halloween, it reminds me of A Nightmare Before Christmas which is such a great movie ! And this is my first "tribute" to my favorite director and producer of all time : Tim Burton. I live in south France and I went to Paris just to see his Exposition at the "Cinémathèque", it was gorgeous !!! Also I can't wait to see Frankenweenie but it's out on october 31st here x)

I love the character of Sally, she's a teenager with all the troubles that go with it but she's also very brave and in love with someone who basically didn't notice here, how sad. She always tries to escape her father and creator (once more, Burton found his inspiration in frankenstein as well as for Edward Scissorhands and Franenweenie, which was a short movie first, an awesome one) by poisoning him xD

She is also very different from the rest of the town, and Santa noticed it xD Anyway, if you didn't watch the movie, go for it ! It's awesome ! I watched like... seven times x)
